Hi, I’m Karly — a born-and-bred Ballarat girl and proud mum to Freya.

When my daughter was a newborn, I took her to a baby spa and saw first-hand the incredible benefits of infant hydrotherapy — from better sleep to deep relaxation and gentle physical development. The only problem? There was nothing like it available locally. And for anyone who’s experienced a two-hour car trip with a newborn, you’ll know it’s quite the challenge. That’s when I knew I wanted to create something special for Ballarat families.

Inspired by my daughter, By Freya is both her namesake and as her gift to other little ones in our community. Every baby who visits gets to experience the same calming, nurturing start that she did — right here in Ballarat.

Along with my personal journey as a mum, I am also a qualified Paediatric Massage Consultant. My passion is helping parents feel confident, connected, and supported as they bond with their babies in those all-important early months.

My vision for By Freya is simple: to create a safe, welcoming space where parents can slow down, babies can thrive, and families can make beautiful memories together.
